Cute Halloween Black & Orange French Tip Cat Nails

After I made my last post I realized I had posted it without having done my toes for Halloween yet. Oops lol. Well here they are! I love how they turned out!! And ignore the messiness haha (Click them for a larger view)

The polish I used was L.A Colors Art Deco in black, OPI for the orange but the bottle had no name on it, and then Sally Hansen's Insta Dri top coat. I did most of it with the small brush the Art Deco has but for the smaller details I used my own even smaller brush. :)

Halloween Nails 2013/2014

Soon it's Halloween and I'm super excited! The Walking Dead is returning soon and I just can't wait, I am going crazy over it!! My costume is Beth Greene!

Here are my nails from last year (2013) when I was Tinkerbell

Diamond Shield - Crystal Clear Nail Laminate for base and top coat
Rimmel London French Manicure Pro - French Rose
Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme wear - White on & Ivy League

I had to use lots of nail guides for this. I put the white on first and then the green.

Nails I did before the Tinkerbell nails. I'm not sure what polishes I used though.

These are my first 2014 Halloween nails. I figure by Halloween they will be chipped and ruined but we will see.

Above is the polish I used in Eggplant Frost. I didn't use a base coat because it didn't seem to react well to it. The base coat I was using was kind of cheap so that may be why. You might want to test it first. The white was L.A Colors Art Deco. It has a small brush for doing designs but I used my own smaller brush. Then I used a top coat of Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri.

Here are my step mom's nails. I used ORLY for the white and L.A Colors Art Deco for the black. I used a smaller brush for the letters and webs and again Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri top coat. To do the ghost faces you just paint on a face, doesn't have to be perfect, and then use the top coat to smear it down. If you've gotten more creative with your nails and done more than just solid colors you will probably find this happens to you sometimes already.

These are my mom's. I used L.A Colors Color Craze for the orange. I'm not sure what the name is. And L.A Colors Art Deco for the black and Insta-Dri top coat. I used a smaller brush for all of this.

If you've done nails for Halloween, crafts or just anything Halloween related like costumes etc. post pictures on any of my many social media accounts. :)

Happy Halloween!!

Matching 3 Color Striped Nails

Normally I don't match my fingers and toes but this time I decided to. I didn't want to spend a ton of time on them like usually.

This is the polish I used. I started with the base coat then did all the blue on 1 hand and then did the pink. It doesn't matter what order you do it in I'm sure I did pink first a few times but I did 1 color on each nail then the 2nd. Once it dried a bit I used the white. It has a small brush made for making lines. It's still pretty hard to get the lines even as you can see (I really haven't done lines like that very much) but from a distance you'd never know. I think the pictures make it a bit more obvious. I finished it with a top coat of Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri. I've been told by 2 different people that it might be good for sports team colors so if you're into that this might be nice! Personally the colors I used reminded me of Baskin-Robbins lol.

Stripes and Spikes Update

I forgot to post this but here is an updated version of the stripes and spikes. I got dotting tools and added a little to my already painted toes. :)
