As many of you may know, I've been in Denmark for the last month or so. My mother in law bought us season passes to a beautiful flower park called Jesperhus. It's absolutely gorgeous there and I can't wait to go back and see how things have changed. While we were there they were adding some new plants in and a lot of the plants were very small so I think it will be even better later.
The season pass includes a lot of great perks, like free/discounted entry to certain zoos and other parks. So stay tuned for posts from those places, but for now enjoy all the pictures I took at Jesperhus.
Click the pictures to make them larger and keep your eyes out for more writing between some of the pictures.
Gorgeous flowers right as you enter the park. These pink and red ones were the first you see if I remember correctly.

A giant anteater near the beginning of the park. It was so big. I don't think I've ever seen one in person before this.
Gorgeous succulents. They use these on a lot of the various 'sculptures' they have around the park.
Red and white, like the colors on the Danish flag. I love the mix of different flowers here.
Lately I've really been fond of flowering trees. I'm not sure what these were but they are so pretty. Look at the petals piled up on the steps in the above picture. Beautiful!
These are from another area of the park. I'm not sure if they're the same type of tree as the previous one but I thought I'd throw them in now since they're at least similar.
Twice we noticed flowers that didn't seem like they belonged with the others. I'm not sure if it was accidental or if there is some kind of reason behind it. It was interesting anyways.
This was probably one of my favorite features at the park. It's a little pond and bridge with statues depicting H.C. Andersen's various stories!

There are a few places to eat and get ice cream in the park. These are the 'umbrellas'. Covered in plants! I love that. I noticed it on some other roofs as well. Really whimsical feeling.
In the first part of the park there's a big open field with a big round display for about 8 Danish flags with stairs all around it. You can walk up there for a nice view. You can see the whole display by itself in the first picture of this post.
And now just some miscellaneous pictures that didn't really group up with the rest.
Hope you all enjoyed this post and all it's pictures. Up next will be the Jesperhus Jungle Zoo!!
