Spooky Halloween Graveyard Ombre Nails

I saw a lot of inspiring Halloween nails but the graveyard ones really stuck out the most to me this year. I saw a lot of people using stencils for it. I really want some of those! As you can probably tell, I did not use a stencil. :P

Below is a picture of a test I did. I was playing around with different polishes to get the look I wanted. This picture is with black and red polish sponged over my bare nail. Originally I was going to do black and red but after I tried it with a white base coat it was just to harsh to do the design I wanted, which is when I tried L'Oreal Paris The Shift Me. That lightened it up so I could do my designs.
I really liked how it looked without a white base coat as well which is why I included this picture for you. :)

OPI Suzi Says Feng Shui Mani/Pedi

I love the styles I see that are often from salons. I'm not sure if this style really has a name but I love it. You can be so creative with it and it's relatively simple.

L.A Colors Art Deco - black and white
SinfulColors - Out of This World
OPI - Suzi Says Feng Shui
I used nail art brushes with the SinfulColors and dotting tools of various sizes.

I normally do something different on my toes but I felt like matching this time. These 2 pictures are with flash. It makes the polish look a bit different. I think the first picture is truer to the real color.

That is a spider bite or something on my middle toe.. It's gone now though and didn't get any worse than this :)

Rainbow Nails

I got some inspiration from this blog for these nails. These were for my sister-in-law and she wanted some like that lady did. I think her colors blended together a bit better but I think mine have more of a tie dye feel to them.

Since I used 5 colors I alternated the middle color so each nail had something different. You could just go around in a circle with each color as well.

ORLY - White tips
L.A Colors Art Deco - black and white
L.A Colors - green, blue, and neon yellow that belongs to her so I don't have a picture of it.
Confetti - First kiss
Wet n Wild - Eggplant Frost
I used the Art Deco brushes and some dotting tools.

This design was a bit more time consuming than some of the others I've done, but it's really fun and you can be really creative with the swirls and dots you do.
