Eternally In Amber Comb Review

Absolutely love their packaging!

I recently bought quite a few of Eternally In Amber's combs while they were having a sale. They're great quality and are seamless, which is the best for your hair. They have a bi-monthly subscription box as well which offers all kinds of hair accessories.

I absolutely love these combs. So worth it!

I'll be including their names as they are on their website in the picture captions, so that you can find them for yourself more easily. ðŸ˜Š

Clear Wide Tooth Comb, Full Size
This comb was included for free as part of the sale they had going on (it's over now). Clear is such an interesting choice for a comb, but I love it! It looks like glass or ice. Absolutely gorgeous.
According to their website, most, if not all of their combs are made with cellulose acetate sheets.

Diamond Tortoise Scallop Wide Tooth Comb
Now I don't see this comb on their website, but the style is called scallop. They claim the little jewels don't snag your hair, and I tested it, and can confidently tell you it's true (at least, with my comb it is)! I was pretty worried about them snagging. And this comb is so cute I'm very relieved that they don't!

Tortoise Shampoo Comb
This comb really is nice for shower use. I prefer combs with handles for using in the shower. But if you just want a wide tooth comb with a handle, this would be great for you!

Black/Cream Abstract Vintage Inspired Round Wide Tooth Comb
Beautiful vintage inspired comb. I love the coloring. It looks like solid colors but there are some shiny bits in it. It's similar to the ones in the rose shell granite comb below, just far less.

Rose Shell Granite Detangling Comb, Travel Size
I generally keep this detangling comb and rainbow fine tooth comb in my purse. I never leave the house without a comb. It's about the same length as the clear wide tooth comb however it's a lot shorter in height so I prefer it in the purse. After all it is meant to be a travel comb.

Rainbow Fine Tooth Rake Comb, Travel Size
I love to use a smaller tooth comb like this to get out any loose hairs that were missed. And let's be honest here....Any lint that may be stuck somewhere. ðŸ˜± This is especially common if you have long hair and/or tend to leave your hair down, like I do.
I never leave the house without this comb.

Enjoy some group pictures of the combs below!

Notice how the teeth styles vary

Delicious Lemonade Recipe

Back when I lived in California we had a little lemon tree. Sometimes I would make lemonade. I even hand squeezed them a few times which was super difficult. It was so nice when we got a little juicer.
In the past I'd always just throw sugar, water, and lemon juice together. The sugar always ended up staying gritty at the bottom, yuck!
I believe it was some cooking show I was watching, I can't remember who, but they made 'simple syrup' to put in the lemonade. That's when I Googled it and found this recipe.

To make simple syrup you, simply, add 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar in a small saucepan. Bring it to a simmer and stir it until the sugar dissolves, then remove from the heat as you don't want to overcook it.

Now in your pitcher add 1 cup lemon juice and 2 cups of water. Then add your simple syrup. We had a decently sized pitcher so I had to double this recipe. These are the amounts I liked however you can adjust it to fit your tastes better. I think this makes a very tasty and flavorful lemonade. Sometimes I would add more lemon juice and/or use less sugar because this is a pretty sweet recipe as well.

So all together that's:

1 cup lemonade
2 cups water

Simple Syrup:

1 cup sugar
1 cup water

Also, notice the Christmas decorations and pumpkin in the pictures. Lemons in winter.. The wonders of California. :P

Cute Cow Nails

I totally adore cows! They're one of my favorite animals. I'm a Taurus as well so it's only natural.
These are fairly simple, and even more so if you have dotting tools. Simply paint the background color of your choice. I chose white, but I bet lots of colors would look great! Tan, black, etc. You could probably do a black nose as well. So many possibilities!
To make the nose, simply make a stripe. I used the polish brush and just went straight across. Then 2 small dots for the nostrils.
Add some dots around in clusters to make spots. I added 2 smaller white dots in the eyes because I though it gave it a cuter, anime like look.

Polish Used

ORLY - White Tips
Confetti - First Kiss
L.A Colors Art Deco - black
I accidentally included the white L.A Colors in this picture but I didn't want to retake it
