Lilla Rose Flexi8 Clips + Giveaway Ending on 12/2/2015 at 12:00AM (GMT +01:00).

I've owned this flexi clip for a few years now. I believe it's size XS. I can really only use it for half ups and now that my hair is so much longer I've been debating whether I want to get a larger one.
Here are some photos of me wearing my clip.

I really recommend these clips for half ups (or something like I did with the gibson tuck above). Since I haven't tried a larger size, I can't really give my opinion on that. However lots of other long haired ladies I know just love these for buns, and I imagine I'd really like it too!

Frosty Glitter Nails

It's been snowing here, so I was inspired to do something more winter themed. I wanted something that reminded me of the snow, but also something more simple than usual.

ORLY - White Tips
SinfulColors - Out of This World (Looove this polish)
Sally Hansen - InstaDri

Enjoy!

Halloween Aftermath

This year I got to celebrate Halloween with my fiance. We went as little red riding hood and the big bad wolf. He's never really had a proper Halloween being from Denmark (according to him), so we were super excited!!

Here are some preview pictures I took after we had gone Halloween shopping and tried on the new stuff we bought.

I bought some new foundation so I had to test it out and make sure I knew what I was doing with it. It turned out really well.

Here are some good pictures of my makeup from the party. I was able to get it about the same at my trial run.

Fake lashes.. Second time I've done them, what a pain to put on lol.
Before we left.
When we got back home, my lip gloss is gone.
A picture Søren took while we were getting ready.
First picture at the party!

They made a cute photo booth for the guests.

Cutie Lola.

Me wearing Søren's mask.

Contest winners. I won sexiest! The others were scariest and funniest. The prizes were car magnets. You can see their magnets in the picture but I didn't have mine. It's a dark sugar skull with blue and purple.

They requested that everyone bring a dish, so I made these super cute Halloween themed deviled eggs. The most difficult to make were the spiders. They took forever since I had to cut 8 slices for each egg half. I ended up doing a triple batch because they were the last ones I made and I had a lot of eggs (less than perfectly peeled ones especially) left over.
I enjoyed making the eyes the most, even though I think the pumpkins were definitely the easiest.
I use the tip of a knife to add the red food coloring to the whites of the eyes. I used scallions for the pumpkin stem and sprinkled them with paprika for more color. I did add a little bit of food coloring to make them more orange. I used large eggs and large olives.
One thing I do not recommend would be putting candy corn, or any unwrapped candy for that matter, on an open plate with your eggs. Some liquid from the eggs mixed with the candy corn, soaked into the egg whites, and created one of the most disgusting things I have ever eaten. My other two plates were fine because the candy was separated.

I used a very basic recipe since I prefer them like that.

6 eggs
1/4 cup mayo
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
Salt and pepper to taste
Add food coloring until you get the desired color

The whole group! What a fun bunch of people! :)

I hope everyone had a great Halloween!!

Hot Topic Nail Polish Review

I went into Hot Topic and they had their nail polish on sale. Normally 1 polish is $5 but I got both of these for $2.50 each. I've always wondered what their polishes were like, if they were quality or just expensive cause of the cute skull bottles.

https://instagram.com/p/6_OlxztyGT/

I only took pictures of the purple one. I put the glow in the dark one on my toes but just forgot to get a picture of it. The name on the bottom of the purple one says "BH Violet W/ Blu Gltr NP" and on the glow in the dark one it says "Lime Splatter Glow Nail Polish". The lime splatter is more of a green polish with yellow glitter. It has that typical glow in the dark color.

These polishes seemed to be pretty good quality, better than I expected. The large glitters in the violet polish made it chip faster and like any glitter polishes they were difficult to remove. I put the lime splatter on without any base coat and it looked nice the first day but then it turned a bit grey and wasn't very bright anymore. It looked really dull and honestly gross. I feel like putting a base color would fix that issue but I haven't tested it yet.
