Mermaid/Beach Inspired Nails

My step mom got me some new nail guides so I had to try them out! (These are also new polishes.) It had chevron, french, and sweetheart shapes. I used the chevron for these but you could probably use any of those 3. These nails really reminded me of mermaids or the beach after I finished. I think it kinda looks like gold mermaids tails in water or sand water and pearls. I really love how it turned out. :)
One thing I might do differently is putting a base coat of white or a 3rd coat of blue cause it seemed a little see through.

Above is what I used (minus the guides). First I did 2 coats of Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in Blizzard Blue. I let it dry and put the guide on and used 1 coat of Golden-I and took the guide off and repeated this for every nail. Then I went back and very carefully put a 2nd coat though some of them I tried leaving the guide on for maybe a minute or 2 and then put more on. Either way seemed to work good but some needed touched up a bit. After I did that I used the white pearls in the wheel. I have nail glue but if you put them on wet paint it works just as good. Then I used Sally Hansen Insta-Dri as always lol.

Here you can compare with and without the pearls. I think both look great and adding jewels might be a hassle for some especially when they are as tiny as these ones.

What it looks like from my view and from someone else's view. I never paid to much attention to how it might look to someone else til I did my Halloween cat nails. I really just do my nails for myself but sometimes it's cute to have a design like the cat I did so that others can see just standing in front of you. :)
