This year I got to celebrate Halloween with my fiance. We went as little red riding hood and the big bad wolf. He's never really had a proper Halloween being from Denmark (according to him), so we were super excited!!
Here are some preview pictures I took after we had gone Halloween shopping and tried on the new stuff we bought.
I bought some new foundation so I had to test it out and make sure I knew what I was doing with it. It turned out really well.
Here are some good pictures of my makeup from the party. I was able to get it about the same at my trial run.

Contest winners. I won sexiest! The others were scariest and funniest. The prizes were car magnets. You can see their magnets in the picture but I didn't have mine. It's a dark sugar skull with blue and purple.

They requested that everyone bring a dish, so I made these super cute Halloween themed deviled eggs. The most difficult to make were the spiders. They took forever since I had to cut 8 slices for each egg half. I ended up doing a triple batch because they were the last ones I made and I had a lot of eggs (less than perfectly peeled ones especially) left over.
I enjoyed making the eyes the most, even though I think the pumpkins were definitely the easiest.
I use the tip of a knife to add the red food coloring to the whites of the eyes. I used scallions for the pumpkin stem and sprinkled them with paprika for more color. I did add a little bit of food coloring to make them more orange. I used large eggs and large olives.
One thing I do not recommend would be putting candy corn, or any unwrapped candy for that matter, on an open plate with your eggs. Some liquid from the eggs mixed with the candy corn, soaked into the egg whites, and created one of the most disgusting things I have ever eaten. My other two plates were fine because the candy was separated.
I used a very basic recipe since I prefer them like that.
6 eggs
1/4 cup mayo
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
Salt and pepper to taste
Add food coloring until you get the desired color
The whole group! What a fun bunch of people! :)
I hope everyone had a great Halloween!!
