Red & Gold Fall Glitter Nails | Video Tutorial

Fall! One of the best times of the year. We just had our first frost here, the sun is setting later, the leaves are turning reds and yellows, so I was feeling super inspired to do some fall nails! I decided to do something with glitter, just cause!

Polishes Used

My Thoughts

You could probably get away with painting your nails red and then using the sponge to apply the glitter polish. I liked using the sponge for both because (and I didn't get any good recordings of this, so it's not in the video, sorry!!) I layered the glitter and red a little bit so I ended up with some orange/red specs of glitter along with the gold. Very subtle but I liked it. Using the sponge makes quite the mess though, so just do whatever you feel up to doing!

Another thing, using a makeup sponge to apply a glitter polish will make it so you can get a lot more glitter on your nail, without caking it in clear polish. Now keep in mind that this will make it even harder than normal to remove. I had to scrape off the glitter and it came off really easy but it was like static and kept sticking to me and everything around me! Be prepared for a big mess! 😂

People are telling me these look like Christmas nails too. I think they're probably right but they are fall themed too!! 😂😂 Just keep the design in mind when Christmas rolls around I guess!

Thinking about doing another fan feature for Halloween, so if you have any fall/Halloween designs send them in before October 31st! They can be old designs, new designs, doesn't matter! Just have to be your own designs.
Please include any and all info you want included in your section of my post. You can remain anonymous if you like. See my previous fan feature for an idea of what you can put, but if you're unsure or want something different, don't be afraid to just ask! You can reach me by email, or any of my social media accounts, all listed in various places throughout my blog.

Know a friend who might be interested in being featured? Be sure to tell them what I'm planning!
