Easter Egg Nail Art

Here are my Easter nails! I really wanted to do Easter eggs. Be sure to look out for my next Easter post in the next few days. I did bunnies on my toes! :)

Polish used:

e.l.f - Flirty Fuchsia (pink)
Covergirl Glossy Days Glosstinis - ElectroGlow (orange)
Avon Nailwear Pro - Sunshine (yellow)
e.l.f - Mint Cream (green)
e.l.f - Lavender Mist (blue)
e.l.f - Fairy Dust (glitter)
Sally Hansen - Insta-Dri (top coat)

How to:

I used a makeup sponge to do the gradients. Then I used dotting tools for the dots and lines.
It looks a little messy but I'm ok with it because it just reminds me even more of Easter, with kids decorating eggs and having fun. If you want better lines consider using a brush or stencils/nail guides/tape.
I put 1 coat of glitter. It really makes them pop!
Then of course a top coat to finish it off.

Here is a picture with just the gradient. I thought it was really pretty as well and wanted to include it.

My thoughts:

Overall I totally love this design and it turned out even better than I imagined! The ombre effect really adds to it but it would be so cute with solid colors as well.

Now unfortunately, e.l.f glitters (Maybe polishes in general?) seem to take forever to dry. My polishes are older so they may have changed the formula by now, I don't know. They were like that since I purchased them so it isn't because they're old, unless they were old when I bought them but I don't think so.
These nails took hours to dry and I've had designs with more coats of polish that didn't take this long to dry. Thankfully the Insta-Dri top coat helped a lot, but they still ended up getting a little messed up, more so on my right hand which you'll probably be able to see in the pictures.

I still like my e.l.f polishes a lot, besides the glitter mostly, even though their glitters are gorgeous. I just don't know why these nails took so long to dry other than what I've speculated on above.

Now please enjoy the massive amount of pictures I took. :P

Hope you all liked this post!
