St Patrick's Day Clover Gem Nails

March 17th, St Patrick's Day!
As you might've noticed from my content, I really love holidays and holiday themed stuff. I just find it really fun and I love doing themes with my nails. I don't normally use the color combinations that you'd use for St Patrick's Day, so I don't have many colors that go that well together. Because of that, coming up with designs was a bit of a challenge for me, which was actually a lot of fun!
If you missed my last St Patrick's Day post go check it out!

Polish Used

ORLY - White tips
Sally Hansen - Insta-dri top coat

How I Did It

I applied 2 coats of white. I used green heart jewels to make the clovers. I dropped one of the hearts and lost it which is why one nail only has 3. I think it looks so cute, maybe even better than the 4 leafed clovers!
I don't have nail glue and forgot to put them on while the white polish was still a bit wet so I used the top coat as 'glue'. You might see it in the pictures surrounding the jewels but that was fixed once I put the top coat on. I took these pictures before putting on the top coat.
Applying them this way allowed me to position them correctly without messing up my polish. Had I done it on wet white polish, or on the top coat, it probably wouldn't have looked that good and would've just smeared it around. It's a little tricky to get the hearts positioned correctly. I recommend using tweezers.
I had round jewels the same color as the hearts but for some reason I wanted to use dark green for the stems. And then I used green squares on my other fingers to try and pull the design together. They were a little bit darker, or more colorful, than the round jewels.

I hope you liked this design! If you're ever inspired by me, you can always share your photos with me on Facebook and Instagram. I'd love to see them!
I'm also on Twitter, I don't go on there as much but feel free to tag me there as well!

Feel free to comment any requests you may have!
Have a Happy St Patrick's Day!
